Will or Trust for Members

MNPEA Members,
Happy New Year! We hope you were able to spend time with your friends, family and loved ones over the holiday season. We appreciate all the hard work you put in throughout 2021 to keep MN safe. Your services do not go unnoticed, and we are extremely grateful for them.
The past two years have been difficult for all public employees. We have seen a lot change over that time-frame and MNPEA has adjusted accordingly to ensure our members are protected. One way to ensure you, but most importantly your family, is protected: establishing a will or trust. MNPEA has spent the last several months ensuring the ability to provide a will or trust at a discounted rate for its members. General Legal Counsel Joe Ditsch and Alec Rolain are available for you to put together a will or trust that will protect your assets and ensure your family is taken care of no matter what. Acquiring these documents for your benefit can be very costly. Every law firm will charge different rates for these types of documents, but we have found the majority charge around $1500 depending on the complexity of your assets and needs.
MNPEA is excited to announce an offer for all of its members to provide a basic set of estate planning documents, including a will, health care directive, and power of attorney, for $750. More advanced trusts and other services are also available.
Please contact our offices at 612-367-6673 and select the option to speak with Attorney Joe Ditsch (x703) or Alec Rolain (x704). Get started with a free legal consultation about your personal situation. If you choose to move forward with these services, they will guide you through those steps as well.
We look forward to providing continued services to you!
Sincerely,
MNPEA
