Minnesota Public Employees Association welcomes our 25th group in just under 12 months.

On October 26th, the Minnesota BMS certified election results for the Wilkin County Licensed Essentials Unit.  The vote was 5 for MNPEA to 0 for Teamsters Local 320.

MNPEA Welcomes Hutchinson Police Officers

On October 23rd, the Minnesota BMS certified election results for the City of Hutchinson Police Officers.

The vote was 8 for Minnesota Public Employees Association, Inc as exclusive representative, 4 voted to remain without representation.

MNPEA Welcomes the Arrowhead Regional Corrections Board, Essential Employees

On September 6th, the MN BMS certified election results for the Arrowhead Regional Corrections Board, Essential Employees Unit.  This unit was formerly AFSCME but was released by AFSCME after filing cards to change their exclusive representative.   Because AFSCME released the unit, the election was to decide between MNPEA or “No Representation”.  The vote was 49 for MNPEA and 1 for No Representation.

The BMS certified Minnesota Public Employees Association, Inc as the Exclusive Representative for the Unit.

MNPEA Welcomes Sibley County Sheriff’s Office Essentials

On August 31st, the Minnesota BMS certified election results for Sibley County Essential Employees.

The vote was 13 for MNPEA, 2 for LELS.  Minnesota Public Employees Association, Inc was certified as the exclusive representative for the unit.

MNPEA Welcomes Witnthrop Licensed Essentials, Our 20th Unit in Under 12 Months

Minnesota Public Employees Association, Inc welcomes Winthrop PD Licensed Essential Employees Unit.

The MN Bureau of Mediation Services (BMS) counted ballots on August 14th and certified MNPEA as the new Exclusive Representative for “All licensed essential employees employed by the City of Winthrop…”.

This unit is the 20th unit to join MNPEA since September of 2011.  WELCOME.

MNPEA Welcomes Mendota Heights Police Sergeants

On June 5th, the Bureau of Mediation Services counted ballots and certified Minnesota Public Employees Association as the exclusive representative for the Mendota Heights Police Sergeants. 

The vote was 2 to 0 for MNPEA.

On May 30th, the BMS counted ballots and certified Minnesota Public Employees Association, Inc. as the exclusive representative for the Faribault County Non-Licensed Essential Employees. 

 The vote was 8 to 2 for MNPEA.
